1. Who is responsible for your data?
REDLANE is a project owned and operated by Calvin Promotions Sàrl. For the REDLANE website and early-access waitlist, Calvin Promotions Sàrl is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
This website is intended to comply with applicable Swiss data-protection law. Where the EU/EEA GDPR applies to a visitor or processing activity, the additional GDPR rights and requirements described below also apply.
2. What data do we collect?
Early-access requests
If you request early access, we collect the email address you submit and basic information needed to process that request.
Technical and security data
When you visit the site, our hosting and security providers may process technical information associated with the request, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, requested pages, and security-related request data. This is used to deliver and protect the website.
What we do not currently collect through this website
The public website does not currently collect REDLANE reading history, OCR content, personal knowledge memories, voice reflections, or mobile-app reading data. Those are future product features and will require a separate, product-specific privacy notice before launch.
3. Why do we use your data?
We process website and waitlist data only for limited purposes:
- to register and manage your request for REDLANE early access;
- to send early-access invitations and meaningful product or launch updates you requested;
- to respond to privacy or support enquiries;
- to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of the website;
- to comply with legal obligations where applicable.
If GDPR applies, early-access communications are based on your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time. Security and site-operation processing may also rely on our legitimate interests in safely operating the website, where permitted by law.
4. Who processes data for us?
We use a small number of service providers to operate the current website.
These providers process data under their own contractual and technical safeguards. Their services may involve subprocessors and infrastructure in more than one country.
5. International data transfers
Some service providers or their subprocessors may process personal data outside Switzerland or the country where you live. Where cross-border transfers require safeguards, we rely on the mechanisms made available by the relevant provider and applicable law, including contractual safeguards where appropriate.
Web3Forms states that form data may be processed across multiple regions and that transfers from Switzerland, the EEA, and the United Kingdom are covered by appropriate safeguards described in its Data Processing Agreement.
6. How long do we keep your data?
We intend to retain your early-access email only for as long as reasonably necessary to manage the REDLANE waitlist and the launch communications you requested, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If you withdraw from the waitlist or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our active records unless we have a lawful reason to retain specific information.
Our form processor may keep submission data for its own defined service-retention period. Web3Forms currently states that form submission data is retained for up to three years, unless a shorter plan-specific period applies or the data is deleted earlier.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, deletion, or information about how your data is processed.
If GDPR applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing, receive data in a portable form where applicable, withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing, and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
Under Swiss data-protection law, individuals also have rights to obtain information about personal data concerning them and, where applicable, to seek correction or deletion.
To exercise a privacy right, contact info@calvincapital.ch. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. How do we protect data?
We use service providers and technical measures intended to protect website and waitlist data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
REDLANE is an early-stage product, so the website and its data processing may evolve. We will update this policy when material processing changes occur and will revise the effective date above.
Before the REDLANE mobile application becomes publicly available, we expect to publish a separate product privacy notice covering areas such as reading capture, OCR, permissions, memory storage, local and optional cloud AI, voice reflections, retention, deletion, and user controls.
